North Carolina publishes data on every public school in the state — as hundreds of raw files almost nobody can use. This demo reads the state's own data dictionary and builds a live, browsable database from it automatically — nobody typed the columns in by hand. When next year's files ship, rebuilding takes one command. Open any table and you'll see the raw form first — then press Decode for the same rows in plain English. Most states' school data looks about like this, and wherever a state publishes documentation, the same code works.
